Ahead of The Odyssey’s release, Lupita Nyong’o delivered one unforgettable fashion moment after another.
Lupita Nyong’o returns to the spotlight with Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated “The Odyssey”, bringing her unmistakable presence back to the red carpet. Boasting a star-studded cast including Anne Hathaway and Zendaya, “The Odyssey” tells the story of Greek hero Odysseus on his gruelling 10-year journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War.
Lupita plays Helen of Troy, a figure in Greek mythology famed as the most beautiful woman in the world. In the story, she is the daughter of the Greek god Zeus and the Spartan queen Leda. Her elopement with the Trojan prince Paris, while still married to the Spartan king Menelaus, is what sparked the renowned 10-year Trojan War.
Styled by her longtime stylist, Micaela Erlanger, Nyong’o has appeared on “The Odyssey” press tour and photo walls, channelling the essence of Helen of Troy as much as possible and giving the character new life and interpretation on the red carpet. Across each appearance, she channelled the sensuality and grandeur of an ancient Greek goddess.

New York City — Ancient Greek goddess glamour
For her most recent appearance at the New York City premiere of “The Odyssey”, Lupita channelled a goddess-like aesthetic. She wore a gown from Nicholas Oakwell Couture’s Spring/Summer 2026 “Goddess” collection.

She paired the gown with a pearl choker with a pendant and a matching ring from Sabyasachi. She also carried a custom clutch designed to resemble a copy of “The Odyssey”. The look was completed with shoes from Aldo.

At “The Odyssey” photocall in London, Lupita wore a dress fresh off the CHANEL Resort 2027 collection. The look featured a black-and-white deep V-neck dress with a dramatic thigh-high slit. It was a full CHANEL look, complete with black-and-white slingback pumps and CHANEL sunglasses. She finished the look with diamond jewellery from Tasaki.

The dress showcased a boat neckline and dramatic side cut-outs with the flow and sensuality of ancient mythology. She paired the look with Aquazzura shoes, a Judith Leiber bag, and jewellery from Garatti.

Paris – A fiery ode
For the Paris photocall, Lupita wore a spaghetti-strap gown featuring a plunging neckline and intricate beadwork that shimmered across the entire silhouette. The gown was a Giorgio Armani Privé creation, styled with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and finished with Hearts On Fire jewellery.
