Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah has been strongly linked with a move to the reigning CAF Champions League winners, but it appears a switch is unlikely to materialize, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old defender has endured a turbulent two years in South Africa, largely blighted by recurring injury setbacks.
Although he rediscovered form and stability at the start of the year, Orlando Pirates opted to offload him, paving the way for a short-term move to Stellenbosch.

Following his exit, speculation linked him with a potential switch to Mamelodi Sundowns. Reports, however, suggest that Sundowns’ exhausted foreign player quota proved to be the stumbling block, and that has stalled discussions entirely.
News emerged recently that the center-back is now headed to Libya, though the identity of the specific club remains undisclosed.

The defender’s representative, Mike Makaab, has since addressed the speculation, confirming that advanced negotiations are underway with a team in the Libyan top flight.
“Olisa Ndah is fit and ready for his new chapter to continue showcasing his talent. So at the moment we are working on a deal with a Libyan club, which I can’t disclose now,” Makaab said. “We are hoping that the deal will be concluded by the end of this week.”

A definitive confirmation regarding his destination is anticipated before the week concludes.
Even if Sundowns miss out on securing his signature, the club retains ample depth and quality in defense to drive their defense of the domestic league crown and push for continental honors.
